CropFusion

I work with the ixLab research group at Ohio State led by Prof. Arnab Nandi. The group's research focuses on interactive data experiences and multimodal data management.

I served as an engineer for CropFusion, a research initiative that produces AI-powered insights from the fusion of multimodal data in agriculture to benefit farmers.

I developed code and processed data for a web app that visualizes and provides insights on the collected multimodal agricultural data, designed to enable farmers to make precise, data-driven decisions. Utilized JavaScript, React, DeckGL, Python, and Plotly Dash

Co-author on a paper published in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Precision Agriculture.

OHI/O

I'm passionate about developing and sharing tech experiences with others. I've worked towards this passion at OHI/O - Ohio State's hackathon program. Together, my team and I work to deliver accessible, engaging, and fun programs to the student community.

In 2022, I served as event lead for HackOHI/O, Ohio State's premier hackathon with over 1100 registrants and 800 participants. In 2024, I served as event lead for ShowOHI/O, a tech entrepreneurship showcase that featured 22 startups from the Ohio State community.

I was recognized with a leadership award and scholarship from The Ohio State University, Department of Computer Science Engineering for my leadership through the program. I am also quoted/featured in an editorial article that was featured on The Ohio State University homepage.

Deutsche Bank - Technology, Data, Innovation Intern

In Summer 2024, I interned with Deutsche Bank on a market risk tech team.

• Developed test approach plans to validate new feature functionality for RiskFinder, a big data platform responsible for calculating the investment bank's quantitative risk valuations.
• Designed and executed behavior-driven development (BDD) test cases written with Gherkin and the Cucumber test automation framework to ensure proper end-to-end functionality of the features.
• Developed a data visualization dashboard to extract ESG insights from multimodal data using AI models and LLMs on the Google Cloud Platform with Python and Plotly Dash. Presented prototype to executive stakeholders.

Nationwide - Software Engineer Intern

I interned with Nationwide in Summer 2023 and worked on back-end app development in the Property & Casualty Insurance space.

• Developed back-end object-oriented code in Java to resolve production defects for PolicyCenter, Nationwide's enterprise application that processes all customer insurance policy transactions.
• Designed SQL queries to search database for policies that were affected by the production defects.
• Built an API test automation tool with Postman, streamlining the testing process and reducing manual intervention. Integrated tool within the Concourse CI/CD pipeline.
• Created data visualization dashboard in Splunk to display 10+ performance metrics for automated regression testing.

American Electric Power - Technology Intern

I interned with American Electric Power in Summer 2022 and worked on an billing IT team.

• Led functional requirements gathering for billing automation system that processes $5 million+ worth of invoices.
• Wrote project management plan, risks, and user acceptance criteria for a Microsoft Power Automate renewal automation system used by 100+ energy suppliers.
• Collaborated with developers to create technical documentation for an AWS cloud app.
